Founder and Executive Director - Mandy Ray-Jones

Mandy Ray-Jones is a Christian unschool mom of three. She has a BA in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University where she also studied theatre, English, women’s studies, and education. Her passions include blogging/writing, life long learning, breastfeeding, alternative medicine, serving her community, reading, performing, exercise, whole raw foods, the 80’s, bright colors, The B-52’s and creating stuff. In the spring of 2007, she created a non-profit organization called Artsy Mamas which has the mission of bringing arts to moms in order to empower them and improve their self-esteem. The organization has done just that and more for Mandy. Together with her family, she lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She and her husband also run two small businesses, Ridiculous Chocolate and Dragon’s Guard School of Fencing and Swordfighting.
